Alex Mallen is a 17-year-old downhill mountain bike racer from Salt Lake City, Utah. Growing up surrounded by the Wasatch Mountains, Alex has been on two wheels for as long as he can remember. Introduced to the sport by his parents, he quickly became immersed in the vibrant mountain biking community—a community that shaped his passion, discipline, and competitive drive both on and off the bike.

Years of dedication to riding, racing, and training have transformed Alex into one of the top Junior racers on the national and international stage as a member of the Outlaw Development Program.  In 2025, he completed his first full season competing in the WHOOP UCI Downhill World Series as well as qualifying for the UCI World Championships, both major milestone in his young career.
